Went to a relatively new neighborhood today there were four pocket parks spread over about a five mile area.
The chain weighs in at a huge 3.6 ounces I see no marking to indicate the material so I am dreaming its gold.
The Key chain has been edited to make it family friendly..

Top left of quarters. Not the one that says "Arizona". Are they both buttons?

That is one hefty chain. I bet the heart was pumping on that one. Do they make gold without marking it? That would be nice. Good haul there. I guess you didn't make it to the beach.

Yes they are both buttons.

Checked the Beach WEB cams an saw detector tracks early in the morning. Besides there were not a lot of people on the beach over the weekend.

I got my "White" detector late last year and went out a few times before it got cold/winter........It's getting close to being good weather here in Kansas....no beaches.....but we do have parks.....and some of these "parks" go back to the mid 1800's !......so I can't wait to embark on my metal detecting career !.....
