This is from 4 schools. Started about 6am. I wanted to hit this one school before anyone else. I tried it a couple of times and was always behind the 8 ball. Not this time. Pulled almost 4 dollars from it.

Nice looking ring I guess I am off out again this afternoon. Checking out the Galveston beach WEB cam at the moment to decide if its worth getting up at 4 AM to hit the beach on Monday morning after the last spring break weekend.

Nice finds! I have been finding that schools are the best place to hit also. I went to a local water front park yesterday and pulled out about $4.00 within 10 feet of one picnic table. I have yet to see another metal detctorist in my town, and no matter where I go I find plenty of stuff to dig.

4 am is mighty early. How far are you from the beach? I bet there is all kinds of stuff being lost from all the drunk college students. I actually thought about going to the beach but it's 2 1/2 hours from here. Not up to the drive. The schools are all closed for the week around here so I will just hit the ones around here. I hope you find tons of stuff if you decide to go.

I wish I could say the same NG. There are quite a few people looking around here. I see them out every weekend when I go out looking. It's more or less a crap shoot here being the first one to look a spot. Good thing there are plenty of places to look.
