Well, it wouldn't be a "sm +LG date" - it would be a small and large mintmark.

And I don't see anything.

Both black&white picture were set the same.
the close ups the S is located in a different location on the top bw photo one is higher than the other and a little lower set?

I thinking that the small one and the large one you can see it on the on the full coin pictures I think its the top one?

I see a normal 1928 S in VG. No inverted mintmark which is an easy one to see on these. Also, the coin has been cleaned. This one is worth about $4.00 to $6.00 tops.

Bottom black/white photo appears as if the S had been smashed or just harshly worn. Otherwise no big difference.
