Searching Barber coinage this week at the shop, and finding a few little surprises amongst the thousands of coins. Mostly low grade common date, to be separated into inventory and melt bags. The biggest suprise was the first bag. These were ziplock bags containing dimes quarters and halves already separated into year groups ( I bag 1905, 1 bag 1906 etc.)
The first bag I grabbed was 1915 and it had 3 1915 -P halves...all grading a solid good...I was very surprised ! There were not alot of key or semi key coins, but it is nice to get my fingers on some once in awhile

Anyway...I also found a 1907 -D Half with a nice die crack through the date, a 1909-O dime with a re-punched mint mark, and a 1914-P dime with a fairly large die gouge ( Unless anyone spots something I don't ) right next to the date. Pictures follow...Enjoy

Thanks Amac. I will try to do that survey, but I don't really have alot of time to count these and specifically grade them. I am sorting the melt bag coins from the coins that can be sold. I will try to integrate some sort of system to get a count and grade (most are AG-F anyway) and hit that survey next week when I am done with them. I would do this easily if I were not being compensated for my time, but I do have to try and be expedient.
