Sorry. No. FG is far from the memorial base and the "G" does not have the serifs on it. Someone I'm sure will post a picture of how to tell the difference - I'm not sure if mine will post
(Also I don' think "D" cents were ever Wide AM.)

Like Mark said, your cent is a Close AM. I think the dirt is making the gap appear larger than it actually is. The serif on the FG is how I tell the difference definitively.

Close AM, another thing to look at is the A in STATES on your coin is not centred between the T's like it is on a Wide AM
