here is what I am looking at. there is 2 coins here. I wanted to see if the group could explain what happened here. I have an idea just wanted to know hat other think.

2 coins? As for the image I think I see what you refer to but I'm not sure . But this got my eye . I enlarged it,a lot . Hope its ok.  Or did I just look to long and see whats really nothing.

"Micro" Metal Flakes struck into coins are not uncommon. Sometimes they are retained which may be the case here.

got the word back from the university. they checked this coin for me. it is a stamp, that was on a bar or plate of nickel.
