I think I'll pass. Likely to milk spot.

I have to pass too.
My issue is that my coin collecting habit is to collect series, not type coins.
So for me to collect 1 privy, means I will want all the privy coins for that particular series.
I would go broke trying to keep up.

Its funny you mention milk spots, I Thought about that too and on the silver swan lol
The way I look at it, I am willing to take the risk on it, just get one, not slabbed.
Years ago I was a Britannia collector and stopped pretty much buying them, thought this would be a nice way to add some to the collection.

I think it would be a nice way to add and I think you should pick it up. I love this Britannia series. I collect them too...I have the whole series 1998-2017, except 1999 (still looking). Love them. I just don't have the privy because then I will have to pick up the horse privies and then this one and pretty soon I will double my budget. It is no reflection on the coins or the series-- it is just my personal collecting compulsion. I am better to have none of them or I will want all of them. On the note on the Swan and milk spots-- I don't think I have every seen a milk spot on any of my Perth Mint bullion. Toning on some (attractive toning), but never milk spots. Maybe I am just lucky in that way. I have milk spots on Austria, Canada and Britain very regularly.

I also have the Britannia series and should have put one of these in my cart yesterday when I ordered the swans. But I didn't yet.....but probably will.
@crazyglue Do you have the Niue steamboat willy 2017 coin? It is the first issue in a new Disney series. Oh, and the Niue guardian angel 2017 coin? Also the first of a new series.

Thanks for the reminder @yup. Always good to read your posts. I am still plugging away at my 1 oz. silver Somalia Elephants. And I haven't had any milk spotting issues (that I know of) with Perth Mint either. Philharmonics, Maples, the 2015 Burundi Lion (terrible!) but not Perth. I will have to take a closer look and check the 2014 Saltwater Crocodile and the 2015 Funnel web coin. I was really disappointed they did not continue that series. I really like the animal coins. I don't do the privys either, with exception to the lunar ones. I have the Kooks and Brits and have them on my Maple list buy haven't bought them yet. But I think only since it is an anniversary and has the "20" I might get this one.

@crazyglue Yes, this would be a nice one off addition. I really wish the UK Britannias would be more mainstream with collectors, for whatever reason they arent that top of mind. Not sure why. Last years gold proof Britannia's were something else, oh man what great work they did and presentation! @Debra thank you for your kind words! I am glad to hear you are enjoying the elephants, especially the older coins in the series, some of the older colored coins are very nice. Make sure you pick up a gold elephant too, they are so impressive! I still have love for my Somalian elephants, just disappointed with what they did this year to the series

@Yup7676-- you have pretty much convinced me to get the 20 privy as a one off because of the anniversary. I hope I can fight the urge to pick up the rest. I am with you-- I am not sure why the series is so off the radar...maybe because for the longest time they were .958 instead of .999 bullion? I'm not sure. @Debrajc-- I have the guardian 2017 but have so far resisted the urge to get the steamboat coin. I am trying to focus on some of my holes in my other series. Like the one you mention-- the Somalia Elephants...I am trying to plug away at them too. And the Libertad, which weirdly enough, despite their availability, is my series with the most gaps. Interesting on the funnel web and crocodile...to me they look like Canadian coins. When you hold one of those up to a Wedge, Koala, Kookaburra, etc...there is no comparison. It would not surprise me at all if those get milk spots.
