the coin is high AU at a minimum. it is weakly struck and has bad toning which looks dirty and subdues the luster..a light dip would make this coin shine I think. you can even see some good luster peaking through...i will refrain from a specific grade because you need to see these kind of coins in hand, but I want to say confidently it is at least mid to high AU and likely better.

Surely you must be joking. Look at the clearly worn hair and the hardly visible breast feathers. High AU? C'mon.

Look at the cotton Bolls for sings of wear, the hair over the ear and breast feathers are the sub-par strike. I would have gone AU58 with more lustre present. Nice original skin on this one.
