Picked this one up. Thoughts on grade and problems? TPG grade in 48. Thanks! Obviously not mark free but I was attracted by the strong strike. Would you say it is a strong strike for this series/date?   IN NECESSARIIS UNITAS - IN DUBIIS LIBERTAS - IN OMNIBUS CARITAS THE MAN IN THE ARENA, Theodore Roosevelt at the Sorbonne Paris on April 23, 1910: " It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles or where the doer of deeds could have done better. I would grade it MS63 with an above average strike and a few scattered light marks, more than a 64 but far fewer than a 62. The top wing feathers, center lower tail feathers, shield lines are fully separated; on the obverse, the upper and lower hair strands show good separation, the stars are fully struck up and complete, and neither the leaves nor the cap fold area show signs of strike weakness.

Agree, obverse scratches and head dings hold it to 63.

63 and yes a strong strike. Full feathers and hair below the "LIBERTY" band. Nice pick-up!

I don't see anything holding it back from MS-64. Strong strike and luster with excellent eye appeal; terrific type coin!

I think its a strong MS63. there are so many tiny marks across the obverse that hold it back especially on the profile. nicely struck

This one wasn't a bargain. Wholesale is $250 and I paid $292.50 which is a 17% premium. Would have liked to pay closer to wholesale, but at least you folks think, as I do that it might be closer to 63 or better. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
