Your coin is a grosso from Milan, or Mediolanvm, as it says on the reverse. It was struck A.D. 1250-1310. The obverse legend is S AMB ROSIV, and is Saint Ambrose, who was the bishop of Milan A.D. 374- 397.

I would guesstimate a value circa $75.

You're quite welcome, but I only dabble outside my area of interest, which is late Roman bronze coinage, specifically Constantine the Great, but I will help if I can.
