As the title says I just bought my first graded banknote. I purchased this one in particular since I live right near the area it was used 200+ years ago. I just have two questions, is the signature printed on the paper or was it signed by Richard Bache himself? And did I do good for only spending $17.50. Thanks!

I apologize if any of the pictures are messed up. I'm trying to get used to the new photo optimizer.

I can't say for sure but my uneducated guess without looking on google would be a note from 1815 would have a high probably of being actually signed. Not sure when they started printing the signature though..

It's a real signature. They would often sign a sheet at a time.

Thank you. One other thing, Richard Bache died in 1811 so was this note printed before 1815?
