Hard to believe that just 10 years ago or so, 40%'ers were not worth keeping.
When I listen to LED ZEPPELIN...so do my neighbors...

Sounds like a numismatically challenged someone tipped into papa's stash of silver for a quick score at the store

I had similar luck last week when I purchased eight rolls from a bank. Two were CWRs that had the same wrapping as yours and one was marked 1969. I opened the marked roll as soon as I got to my car and found 18 1969 halves. The roll was short two coins, but I couldn't be happier. I topped off the roll later that day when I found two more 40% halves buying up whatever loose halves my local banks carried.
The second CWR and the other six BWRs were a bust, but great day overall!

Nice find!...I too was blessed with an entire roll of silver at the bank today. My first ever. Not as good as yours as mine were all 68s. I now understand the thrill of seeing an entire roll of silvers you got for face value.

Nice and congratulations. Years ago I had the same thing happen I bought 20 dollars in haves form a teller who said she had a 150 dollars in halves and as I was looking at a roll walking away from the bank I noticed they were all silver. Wow I went back and bought the rest of the rolls. To make a long story short I had all silver but for 5 dollars. Many were junk a few 90% Kennedys and a lot of 40 % Kennedy's. Man I was beside myself with that one. So I know how you felt when you found that!
