Rabbit, have you tried to see if it is slightly magnetic? That may indicate a coating(plating) of nickel(slight, not real strongly attracted). Someone was playing with it apparently, maybe tried one of the thousands of aYoutube videos about how to coat/electroplate a cent.

I tried that magnet first. I do that with all my coins. Its not at all magnetic. I dont want to waste anyones time on here.
