Well I want to call this a lamination crack but it turns into something that resembles a die gouge.. it's different than your average lamination that's for sure. Let me hear your input. By the way, the lines below the leaf are mountains not valleys

Is the rim affected? Your photos seem to cut off right at the edge.

Nope. Rim wasn't affected. Rim looks kind of strange though.

I agree, it looks like a lamination crack, as you surmised. A thin but long defect in the planchet.
