What Is This Type Of Error On This Dime Called?

I'm not sure I'd be able to tell something weird in the 'reeding' if it was in front of me. It's in a Mylar flip, but the side edge looks pretty normal to me. The multi-edge effect does appear on the reverse side at the same point as shown on the coin's obverse side (as in, if a hole were punched through the coin it'd hit both affected areas). My attempt at a picture of the revers failed. Is the MAD then, as it seems to me? Report this Post to the Staff
Conder101 Bedrock of the Community United States 17884 Posts	Posted 12/11/2017 11:14 am If the edge reeding is normal it is a mis-aligned die coin with both sides misaligned. If the reeding is missing it is probably an uncentered broadstrike. Report this Post to the Staff
