Now aren't you glad, viper, that our gang got all those into Charlton after we wrote the 2011 Charlton variety section? Great collection of many of the really neat '59's

But okiecoiner was the main inspiration in having me go after the many 59's.. Always many thanks to him ..and his expert feedback here..

Thank you M.G. for the kind words for the LC crew .. and you too, Devlec.... it's too bad you missed being part of CCRS.
However, it was bosox from this board (and publisher/author extraordinaire) who led/organized us for getting all the info to Bill Cross at Charlton. It's just too bad that they limited what we could put in to just 80 pages. It was a great team effort.

i think we all have learned from okie! I make it a point to read whatever you say on here as there is always something to learn from you, I enjoyed seeing some of your stuff and was thinking of seeing you again someday to show you how to get some decent pics of your coins with a cheap $20 camera so you can post some of your coins here for all to see. im a bit busy today but I will try to post some of my rp9's later may not be as nice as yours viper but I have a few I can share

We love our double punched 9's.. We treasure our triple punched 9's.. What should we say about the only quadruple 9..? If you are able to look inside of gigit's 9 from page 288, you would see this. A true quadruple 9 and the only one that I know of that shows four distinct 9's in the date. Maybe bosox can add his view to this interesting example showing on p.288.

papeldog..
That is another beautiful example..
If you had the right lens and a nice little tilt with a good light..We would see the 4 distinct steps in that cent of yours..
