Today I searched through 400 nickels and found 50 pre-1982 coins. That is a 12.5% rate.

Located in 416, anyone have similar luck in 416?

I usually get anywhere from 10-20% pre-82's in each box. It does seem that the percentage has gone down lately, but then again, I'm not searching as often as I used to. I work in 416, but live in 905 territory.

I find lots of pre 82 nickels. Enough so that I usually end up giving tonnes back to the bank. I can't keep everything I find, so I guess that means I am not a hoarder, but I do collect. I seem to make complete (or near complete) sets, sell them and start over. I only keep my very favorite coins.
