Here is the cleaned up bluenose at well as this awesome 1975 Canada Penny error. At first I thought it was a common error but than I noticed that the error now looks like an arm wrapped around the Queen' neck. Maybe I just need sleep LOL
to CCF. What are you seeing as an error on these two coins? As a general rule you should never clean a coin,it can lower any potential value by at least half. John1
I see the arm you refer to however I believe it to be a penny that was stuck at the bottom of a coffee cup holder in a car and got all gunked up from coffee or coke.
Unless using actual pure acetone, never clean a coin. Never rub a coin, either, because it could remove luster and value. Just let the coin sink in a pure acetone bath. to the CCF!
