 with Mark - your coin is slightly overgraded. Be glad that PCGS gave it a 64 - I would give it a 62 or 63!

Or, you could just buy some plastic polish (There's one called Plast-X that's available at auto repair stores or in the auto repair section of Walmart.) It should be able to remove the scratches on the holder.

To me it looks like they got it right at 64. Reverse is very nice.

I think it just barely makes MS-64. No way even close to 65.

From the images, looks like a typical ms64....with the infamous CC bump. Doubt it would bean, but a nice coin nonetheless.

I wouldn't bother with a new holder. Its doing its job protecting the coin and stating its grade. The great thing about PCGS and NGC graded slabs is no matter what people think the grade should be, its pretty tuff to negotiate down but as you see people still try. Nice coin.
The only way I would take it out of the slab is if you got the whole series and PCGS comes out with a series slab. That would be neat,
