Hello, everyone.

When I withdrew some dollar coins from a bank today, this 1979-P Anthony dollar was part of the lot. I was wondering, is this an actual error or post-mint damage? If it is an error, would it be worthwhile to submit it to a TPG?

Thanks!

Yep, definitely someone with a file and too much time on their hands. Spend it if the bank will take it at face value.

Thanks, everyone.

I'll try and spend it or redeem it at a bank for a better-condition dollar coin.
