Hi everyone!
It's been a while since I posted, but here's a question:
I've been pulling pre-1982 pennies from circulation and storing them in a large tupperware container. I thought I read somewhere that if a coin with verdigis co-habitates with others of it's kind (copper), it will eventually infect those as well.

What do you suggest I do?
Should I seperate any with even the slightest bit of verdigris?
Should I then clean them?

I would also hate it if all the wheaties I seperated from the others would get corroded from this verdigris. You see, I put ALL the wheaties in the plastic penny roll containers for storage.

Thanks!
Laura

If this works as good as you have shown I would love to buy some for a couple of coins I have kept around. The only down side is that now I will keep almost every coin I come across and not just the ones I need/want.

It does work and it works well. Before I sell I have some things to take care of. Next up, I have a couple of independent testers who will validate the testing that I've done.
