Yes, they should have.

And they better have one for the McMuffin when its time comes.

Man I wish I would have seen this earlier. Oh well. Wait a few years and they will be on ebay for cheap. I have one of the old Canadian Loblaws $1.00 McD's tokens such as this one:

They don't go for much nowadays.

If the tokens are global currency, I guess they will all look the same. If they look all a like, then a token received in Canada can be sold in Norway at a premium. Since Norway has the most expensive McDonald's.

I think this won't float because the whole issue of the exchange rates and all the problems this will cause. They will have to have two price lists to compensate.

The five coin USA English set is not the only set. If you want a world set, you need to acquire the maccoin distributed in the Arabic, Indonesian, Mandarin, Portuguese, French and Spanish languages. I'm not sure is the maccoins are the same, but the packaging is different. I seen the Arabic (from Jordan) sold out quickly. I seen the Indonesian version.

Here is the Portuguese set https://www.ebay.com/itm/McDonalds-...e32e%7Ciid:1

Who will be the first to have a completed world set?

Just looked into these in Canada, they are only distributing 50K of them via contests on twitter and radio stations. Believe it or not I have already seen these graded in slabs for sale. How is that possible if the only came out July 29th, 2018...

And now NGC is grading them.

The next generation of collectors getting what they identify with graded shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone.

I was able to get one at the RCNA convention yesterday. I was volunteering for a few hours and giving one out to everyone attending the show. McDonald's had literally given the RCNA a bucket full of them! There were also a very limited quantity (only 10) cloth bags with the McDonald's logo and containing all five different coins. They were being sold for $50. Given the prices on ebay, this seems like a good deal.

Anyone selling these? I have sold five so far, all for about $12. Two went to the United States; one to Canada (Quebec) and two to the Philippines (same order). I never expected these to be so popular!
