Hi!
I'm a newbie and I hope someone would help me to identify my coin. It has the diameter of 16 mm and I'm told it's Nordic, medieval...is it, anyone?

Thanks/Patrik

Looks like a Lithuanian Solidus from 1625 AD. Maybe under Polish rule?

Gumowski lists this type for 1624 (G.1307) but not for 1625.

Not 1625 or 1624 - the date is 1623. 2SV94-48 in Ivanauskas catalogue, with initials „RL" under the Wadwich on reverse. The Polish catalogue shows very great value https://www.fortresscatalogue.com/i...Coin_Details but it is the common coin in reality and costs about 5-7 usd https://allegro.pl/szelag-litewski-...2009763.html

Values in the Fortress catalog are in zloty, so it is showing only $6-10 in F/VF grade, consistent with what you are saying.
