Is this a known Double die?. I tried to find information on it and thought this might be a new discovery.. can anyone verify?

It's called "Push Doubling" Machine Doubling. The die bounced off a little during the strike, and landed in a different spot. The devices are reduced in size, and it's shelflike in appearance. http://www.error-ref.com/push-doubling/

Is it worth anything...here I got all excited thinking I found my first double die... I guess the examples I'm looking at online or misleading because that's what I thought this was. is there somewhere I could go to actually see what a double die is

Machine Doubling doesn't carry a premium unfortunately. It happens a lot, and it's very common. If you want to see real Doubled Dies, this is a very good website that I'll provide a link for. http://doubleddie.com/814618.html
