Thanks to all of you for your comments.....

This coin is probably one of my best in that serie !

BTW: I've added new picture to my previous post showing the coin size compared to a normal one.

Holy crap! I need someone to explain that one to me! I didn't think there would be enough metal to spread out that much.

I think it's similar to a Broadstrike where the coin expands when the colar is not deployed.

In my coin, the striking pressure was certainly higher than expected with the two planchets overlapping.

My visual interpretation.

The hammer die never touched the Split Planchet except at its extreme limit.

Of course, this sketch is exaggerated.

I have added another split planchet to my collection. It is from 1975 and weighs 1.64 grams. Visible striations on the obverse. Nicely toned and great eye appeal on this one.

Nice coin! Great to see those from years other than 1980 or 1981.

This coin has been presented on another discussion, but I think it's appropriate to show it on this showcase for future reference.

A nice 5 Cents 1962 struck on a planchet that was split before strike.

The weight is 2.22 grams.
Normal coin weight should be 4.54 gr.

Thanks to SPP-Ottawa for the identification of this error.

I just added this beauty to my collection. This is a 1967 25 cent split silver planchet, split before strike. It weighs 3.06 grams which is 52% of a typical 1967 25 cent which weighs 5.83 grams. Note the striations on the reverse and the smooth unstruck area on the obverse. Also note the bodybag that it came with from ICCS. I took a chance on this one (and someone else was bidding too) but it paid off. This is an extremely scarce error I believe. (And it's 1967 woo hoo!)
