Ok, we're cleaning house and we find a dime that was thrown into a jewelry box a few years ago . Whoever deposited it there must have thought it to be worth more than a dime . One side is fine and the picture appears to be the same as a 60s,70s,80s,and 90s but the side that displays the man's face is overstamped and that overstamping covers the entire neckline, ear, and the back of the head. The face features and the top of the head remain and the word liberty . If I stare hard enough I could actually see through the overstamped area. It is not "crushed " because all of this drama occurs within the circled edges. Anyone with suggestions ? Thanks , Al
