Elaut Top Quality Entertaining.

Hello.

I'm not a big collector of tokens but I have come across a few over the years that I have kept. This one mysteriously appeared on my nightstand and I'm trying to figure out who left it for me.

I know what it is, a gaming token by Elaut and it's made of nickel but what I don't know is was there a time period these were used? Were these designed for a particular machine or machines?

Just curious what some here might be able to educate me about it. I did try the search feature here to no avail and the web answered some of my questions but not what I'm asking on here.
