sowolf New Member United States 24 Posts	Posted 10/06/2018 5:29 pm I was wondering if anyone had Basso's book on Philippine Coins, tokens and medals - and if you would be willing to help me attribute this coin? I have searched and searched, but can not find any information on it. The reverse is the incuse of the obverse. It looks fairly rare and was thinking of sending it off to PCGS? The token is similar in type to the Bodine Brothers 1856 US token. I would greatly appreciate any help or knowledge anyone might have. Thank you kindly. Report this Post to the Staff

I found out PCGS will only attribute tokens from the Philippines that are listed in Basso's book. Still trying to find out more about this token. I've had it for about 5 years and have not been able to find another one like it anywhere (Ebay, Heritage, Stacks, or any Forum). It is extremely light, it weighs approx 2.0 grams and is approx 30mm in diameter. Very similar to an 1856 Bodine & Bros Token I had a while back, where the reverse is the incuse of the obverse.
