Very, very nice find and congratulations! This is a big deal, since these are so hard to find! You got the real deal! I remember finding one in circulation in May of 2017. I found mine in a circulated bankroll, from a brick box of U.S. Pennies. http://goccf.com/t/307650&whichpage=1Errers and Varietys.

I found it going through a combination of rolls from my bank and jars of penny's a couple of people. In the future I should keep bank & other coins separate so I know specifically where any "finds" originated. My first real "variety"!!
Would an acetone bath help with the black specs?
Also, any thoughts on what the coins grade might be?

Acetone will not remove carbon spots but it won't hurt the coin either. Give it a bath and put it in an Ait-Tite holder. Great find. John1  |
