My 4th and final Ancient I am unable to ID myself; hope someone can help me!
I was told by a coin dealer this is Roman, circa 300AD, but that could be wrong. It is 20mm in diameter and has few distinguishing marks. I'll use Photobucket for this one as I cannot get enough detail into a 100 Kb .jpg file. I posted two of each side with different lighting and camera setups. I wish I knew what I was doing!
You've got the obverse and reverse back to front. On the reverse (your "obverse") is Jupiter standing, IOVI CONSERVATORI around. I can't quite make out enough of the obverse legend to identify the emperor, but it'll be something like this one.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
