I finally had a chance to go through my Apollo Half Dollar sets. Quite a few of them had some sort of debris in the capsule. I saw this blueish curved shape and thought it was just another piece of debris, but it is in the coin. Is it a strike through error or something else? I tried hitting it with some compressed air and it doesn't move. Thanks

Is the anomaly raised or sunken into the coin? May be a tiny die gouge or a spot where the mottling was "masked" by something on the die. Interesting.

Thanks for the input Bump. It appears to be sunken into the coin.

If incuse, then you're probably right - strike through of some sort. There are people on the site much better at this type of thing than am I.

I got 4 out of 5 sets with die marks on my 2019 enhanced reverse proof Kennedys. I sent them to NGC to see if I get an error designation.
