I realize the coin is beat but it is 84 years old. But is the double e in e pluribus unmum a double or die wear or something else? Still newbie at this but trying to figure some of these strange finds out to gain some knowledge.

Usually you don't see much doubling in that area. But there is one for 1935: Note note, it is not just the 'E' that is doubled. Other devices around that area is also affected.
