levelsofmadnes Pillar of the Community United States 3003 Posts	Posted 02/26/2019 3:52 pm First picture is the 1982 D small date. Notice how the "2" curves down towards the base like the letter "S". Second picture is the 1982 D large date. Notice how the "2" comes straight down to the base. To find out if the coin weighs 3.1 grams or 2.5 grams, I use a scale.
