The second prize is nothing to sneeze at either! When I was at the coin shop Saturday one of the employees was showing off his "new toy"- a MS64 high relief Saint! That was one pretty coin- pretty price tag too. He said it set him back $27000! [:0] Rachel [:p]

ND, I got the survey in the mail and after I had filled it all out, I got to the end where it said that they reserve the right to remove dealers from the drawing. Good luck to everyone here! That's a heck of a prize!

Interesting survey. took a while to fill out. Felt it had just a bit too many personal questions. If anyone from the forum wins, we need a picture posted.

Susan, I saw that part. Unfortunately they know my name, so I don't expect to win.

I would love to see one of our members win, though.

I got a note in the mail from B&M about that so I sent it back to them the day after I got it...I never win anything but maybe...the free grading from PCGS would be nice. Speedy

Well, I filled it out, but I never win lotteries with the exception of the draft lottery which I would have won in 1969 with 6th place except that I had already been drafted in 1968, so was declared ineligible.
Also, given the scale of the figures with which B&M worked, I felt like a mighty small pistol among some mighty big guns.

Actually since being bought, Bowers and Merena has been working hard to move to the lower levels of collector coins. At some of the major shows they are selling coins as low as a couple hundred dollars. Looks like they finally realized that there are more collectors than investors.

You know what I would really like to see when it comes to these give-a-ways and contests? I would like to see a law requiring them to run a same size (full page ad)with the winners lists for all to see! You always see all the hype, in the begining but never see the results!

Tell that to the PowerBall winners and the state lottery winners as many of them get plastered on walls all over the state or nation! Your chances of getting robbed are about the same, with or with out your name in the paper and quite honestly I can't imagine many crooks taking the time to read a numismatic magazine or paper? If they were intelligent enough to read they probably would be bright enough to do something constructive!

To say soemthing Mr Sherlock Holmes said--"The average crook know more about what he is stealing than the average collector of that item" I say a few crooks would find you name some way or another---
