Hello,

I am new to coin collecting and came across this coin. I could not find much searching the net. Is it a double die on In God We Trust and possibly the date or some other error? If anyone could help it would be appreciated.

Not a DDO, MD/DDD. I would check Wexler's site and see what your looking for. Keep looking!

about DDD. Very good at mimicking a doubled die.
The date looks like it took a well placed hit.

Actually the date looks more like a partial grease blockage on the tops of those devices. (note how they widen?)

To CCF! Sorry, but as said, not a Doubled Die. Just Die Deterioration Doubling.
