Interesting that they used a two-faced punch and in coin alignment. They put some thought into that. That's a really nice counterstamp!

My "Aloha Money" dollar collection. It took sometime to collect each specimen.

Results from NGC. I'm somewhat amazed at this find. It's by far the most valuable token I have found "in the wild". I got this distinct impression this was someones junk box. Anyone old enough to remember token collecting in the 60's and 70's? Could this have been considered junk back then?

Glad it came back authentic, dar! That's a rare one too.
Yes back in those days of the 60's, everything was considered junk, from Morgans ($1) to pop bottles.

Hawaii's first Olympic Gold Medalist, Duke Kahanamoku, 1912 Helsinki 100-meter freestyle. This is a lowly elongated penny I discovered in my collection recently. There are several beautiful medallions from the past that honor this legendary athlete.
