A lovely woman that works in a gift shop in the hospital that I work at will be celebrating her 100th birthday in September. She is an amazing woman. I was surprised when her friends told me she is 99 years old. She looks like she's in her early 70's. She volunteers once a week at the hospital gift shop, mows her lawn and sets up and maintainers her own swimming pool.

Several months ago she observed me looking at quarters I received in change from a purchase. She asked me what I was looking for and told her I was searching for 2019 W quarters. We started chatting and found out she is also a coin collector. During our conversation it was mentioned that she was missing a few State Quarters to complete her collection. I told her I may have some of her missing coins and asked her for a list of the needed coins. The next week I gave her the missing coins to complete her collection. Ever since that day we have a weekly 10-15 minute coin chat.

Her colleagues seem to enjoy listening to our weekly 10-minute coin chats. They asked me if I could possibly find a 1919 coin as a gift for her 100-year birthday celebration. I told them I could supply a 1919 LWC as I have plenty to spare. As I was thinking about the gift and I thought a complete year set would make a great gift.

If you have coins in the list below, please post here or send an email what coin(s) you have to sell. I'm looking for the following coins in circulated condition with a relatively clear date (1919).

1919
Buffalo nickel
Mercury dime
Standing Liberty quarter
Walking Liberty half dollar
Morgan dollar

Thank you,
MSI2

Nice idea. No Morgan $ minted in 1919. I have a 1919 Buffalo you can have. Send me a message with the address you want it shipped to.

bandsdean-Just received your 1919 buffalo. It's a beautiful coin with a clear date. I can't thank you enough for your generosity. I picked up a 1919 Mercury dime at my LCS. NowI just have to acquire a 1919 Standing Liberty quarter and 1919 Walking Liberty half dollar to complete the set. I also plan on giving her a 2019 silver proof set. I thought giving her coins from her birth year and the year she reached 100 years will make a nice gift.
