I pulled them both out and I can't really find any markers that I could use to determine whether they are the same die or not. No die cracks, chips or die gouges that I can see on either of them.

jorgy, I went back and I believe they are the same die. I asked Coop, if he could post the overlay again, but with the "bullet in the SE quad, rather than the SW. I needed to see a marker ther to be sure, one way or the other. I have since spotted that marker, which tells me it is the same die. The only difference is that the later coin took a "hit", very close to "my" marker.
