I was at RCM Winnipeg last week and bought a roll of 25 2008 polar bear toonies. These were issued for circulation in June but I haven't seen any in circulation yet. Out of 25 I found one worthy of keeping (AU-58) and the rest in awful condition.

I found 5 coins with the first error below - it looks like uneven burnishing or an alignment issue(?), and 2 coins with alignment errors(?), see the 3rd pic below. How would you classify these errors?

In the Coins Can website (coinscan.com), I don't see any examples of the first issue/error but there are plenty of alignment errors. I have emailed Patrick Glassford (who owns the site) to ask his opinion.

The RCM was producing cents and toonies while I was there: a fascinating experience!
