I don't know but to me this coin seems a higher grade then ms66 what do you guess think

Subtle differences in MS grades 66 or above are almost impossible to differentiate from pics, especially off-angle and upside down images as shown.

It's a 1938-D and I'm good with the 66 grade .

I agree with the grade, based on the photos. In hand might change my mind.

First,

The 1938-D Buffs were saved in large quantities, and UNC bags were available in the 1960s and UNC rolls well into the 1980s. MS-66 is the most common certified UNC grade for 1938-D. It's a bit hard to see the details on the photos, but what I can see looks like MS-66. The grade looks spot on.

The only reason I ask I have looked at it for some time now and studied it side by side with others on auctions and coin sites and the details I can see and compare match MS 67 real close to a MS 68 but I'm not a expert so thanks I'll keep the grade I was debating on sending it back and having it re graded.
