Not sure what your issue with lighting is (I wouldn't say these are "better"). If I may suggest, try a stronger but diffused light source (think light through a piece of paper). I'm not sure where your blue-ish colour is coming from either. Play with it more, I'm certain you'll find a good combo that works for everyone. Daylight is an excellent light source, especial to cut down on glare. Coin photography isn't easy, but the more you work at it, the better you'll get. I have faith you can do it!
