Nice set and good deal! I just got a new Dansco 8100 and need the 09-S VDB and almost all the proofs, so it'll be a while. :)

Gormang,

I'm jealous the only key that I have is the 31-S, but I do have all RED MS63-66 from 1928 through 1958. I just can't afford the major's right now. I spend too much on coins that I already have. I buy nice RED's when I see them at a good price. I guess I need to start selling some of my coins and start picking off the keys one at a time. Maybe with the economy going south, maybe there will be some better prices coming. Again congratulations on your milestone.

Congrats on finishing the set and especially for the major purchase of all those coins at once. Like others, this is the set I am working on and if it takes me 30 years to complete I would be excited to put that last coin in its place. Having young kids, there is no way I am going to finish my set until they are out of the house and I have spending money again. At least by then I should have everything else and just waiting on those last 5 key dates.

Thanks everyone.
these have increased in value a good 6-10x in 30 years (according to the RedBook).
Now I just need to figure out what set to complete now, so many choices.

Ya gotta love owning that 55 double die!
One of my top 5 coins I'd love to own someday. A real classic IMO.
Yes I think now you need to make a photo set of these and share it with us.
CONGRATS!

And as a bonus,
the 1909s vdb and 1955 DDO both came with the old Anacs photo certificate
