I'm thinking this is probably in the AU Range based on what I see. These pics were sent to me (not mine). Just wondered if I can get some feedback as to overall appearance, eye appeal, detail, and possible straight grade. Appreciate all comments...Thanks!   |

I'd say AU-53
Edit: just saw the rim nicks at 12 and 2 on the obv., a few on the rev. As well. Not sure if it's enough to Details it or not.

Not much luster. On wear alone,
AU-53, but
obvious dings on obverse keep it a bit lower than that.

Boy oh boy...seems like an awful lot of fine scratches all over her...?
If these were sent from the seller to you for additional consideration...you may want to reconsider?
That's a big dollar coin to have her come back details if you're expecting AU...
AU details (cleaned) for me.

AU details also. this coin is normally struck well with above average strikes. even though this coin has been in circulation the wear around the ear area and eagle breast are less than what I would like to see. way to many nicks, ticks and scratches on this one for my liking
