1989 P Roosevelt Dime, Doubled Ear?

I was doing a big hunt the other day through some Canadian dimes and saved all the US dimes I found. While looking them over I found this 1989 P Roosevelt dime that looks to have a Doubled ear.

Compared to a 1989 D Roosevelt dime (only other 1989 I had on hand) the doubling protrudes out of the ear making it larger then it should be.

I couldn't find anything on a double ear Roosevelt dime. Looks like Machine Doubling. VV lists a 89-P, but we can't tell with yours seeing we can't see the whole coin.

Looks like Machine Doubling in that area.

I agree. Very slight. MD is usually round on the outside edges of devices. Probably more on the SE edges of other devices on the obverse?
