typical bold strike for this year. nice overall luster. AVG+ eye appeal with just a hint of gold. I'm not seeing any serious hits just some chatter from other coins. the coin should grade MS65 but I have one just like this from PCGS that I thought would grade at least 65 and it came back as MS64

A lot of what appears to be contact marks on the obverse is actually metal flow due to the die state. Other than the N-S gash just west of the ear, the obverse contact marks would be consistent with MS-65. The gash likely holds the obverse to MS-64/MS-64+. The reverse is solid. I do not see anything that would hold the reverse below MS-66. Giving a bit more weight to the obverse, I think this would net grade to MS-65.
