I'm pretty sure I saw a Ms 1939 dollar in one of those holder, strange enough...

Can I be honest and tell you that I'm already overwhelmed at the thought of what I'll have to do about his collection when he someday passes? He is a knowledgeable and passionate numismatist and his collection is large. I personally know nothing about coins, nor do I have the interest. But I guess I'll be forced to learn a thing or two when the time comes. Ugh.

Yes, this is the listing I created back in 2018 when my father asked me to auction the coin for him.

Canadian Coin News also published an article about it.

Not a chance. From what I hear, this is a 1944 off-metal error., and not an intentional strike. Much like how this 1943 is an off-metal error.
