Here's another index to a set of classic era US commemorative coin posts I've made that fit the topic or theme of "Coins with Beards" over in the "Post Your..." forum area. I count thirteen such coins within the classic series. Have I missed any?

1. 1920 Maine Statehood Centennial
2. 1920-21 Pilgrim Tercentenary
3. 1922 Grant Memorial, Half Dollar plus Gold $1.00
4. 1924 Huguenot-Walloon - Tercentenary of New York City
5. 1925 California Statehood Jubilee
6. 1925 Norse-American Centennial
7. 1925 Stone Mountain Memorial
8. 1925 Fort Vancouver Centennial
9. 1935 Hudson, NY Sesquicentennial
10. 1936 Elgin, IL Centennial
11. 1936 75th Anniversary of Battle of Gettysburg
12. 1937 75th Anniversary of Battle of Antietam
13. 1937 Roanoke Colony Memorial 350th Anniversary

As I stated in my "Places" index post, there is quite a nice array of world coins on display in the target thread - this time with bearded figures - so I encourage you to scroll around a bit after you check out one or more of my US commemorative posts!

I'm pleased that you include the Norse medal in your accounting of US classic commemorative coins - I certainly do.

But of course! IMO, you can't have a complete set of the classic silver commemoratives without a Norse-American Centennial medal!
