They are not trails,i think it's Die Deterioration,lets wait for the pros to answer.

I dont know but I know that when they ARE trails. They all point in the same direction. Those look like they are just shooting toward the rim. I may be wrong

Looks like they were a little heavey handed when cleaning the die.

I believe that these lines are caused Die Deterioration and are not the result of die movement during the hubbing process, which will produce trails.

What you are seeing near the letters is Machine Doubling and other ares are just die errosion no trails

Just wanted to add that on the web site https://www.traildies.com 1982 is the oldest so chances are a 1979 would not be a trail die.
