I couldn't find a match for this one. The doubled beard matches one of the 1992 varieties and doubling on liberty reminds me of the 1995 DDO. Lincolns statue looks doubled along with the split plate doubling on the reverse it looks like a doubled fg maybe and in the last bay possible doubling. Thanks for any info or comments

I sent a message to Mike Diamond on this one. It could be few things or one. Just not seen this combination before. I figure he might find it interesting.

The image for Liberty was level for the tops of the devices, but the Devices were not vertical.

I need to make some side by sides to see of the devices are normal in size and that grease is blocking some of the devices. The range Mike Diamond mention for grease hold is 1995-2000. Thus it that is what it is, Mike may want to adjust his range a bit. (thus why I called him in on this one)

Reverse is showing a lot of split plating issues. The images of the statue area are either too close, or too far away.

It looks like slide doubling in opposite directions. That's the first case in my experience of anything other than unidirectional slide doubling. It doesn't appear to be "grease-mediated radial smear" as I see no evidence of grease.

Thanks Mike. I added some images of a side by side and agree with what you thought. Thanks again. It explains all the split plating and the doubled something on the statue. Also why I couldn't get the image of the liberty to look straight.

Thanks mikediamond. First time I've heard of slide doubling. Is this more of a common plating issue or worth attribution? Here are a few pics of the statue with less zoom if you still need them coop

Slide doubling and split plating doubling have nothing to do with each other, despite both appearing on your coin. Slide doubling is a misnomer. It refers to smearing of the design from lateral die movement. Split plating has nothing to do with die movement. It's simply the copper plating splitting due to tensile stresses generated during the strike and that are concentrated at the edge of the design.

Thanks mikediamond. I just read about slide doubling on error.ref. My take on what I read is its similar or another form of md. It looks like baby Yoda sitting on Lincolns lap on the reverse. Lol

Well I can't do everything, but the ones I feel comfortable with, I excel. Through the years I've worn many hats.

I didn't include the split plating on the outside edges of the devices.
