This posting is just a work-up to the real thing. MODS, please leave this here so all the folks I rattle sabers with will be able to join in on the fun. In order to keep the contest even and fair, I request that one Moderator help me in this endeavor. Standard Forum rules apply, such as you MUST have 50 quality posts to enter Since I have not had any contests as of this date so far, I'm aiming for 3 winners The list of prizes are: 1st - 2020 United States Mint limited edition Silver Proof Set (yes, complete with the ASE) 2nd - 2011-W Proof American Silver Eagle 3rd - Either James Madison or James Monroe Silver 1oz. medal (your choice of one or the other). The Contest: I will simply pick 3 numbers out of 50.
You will post your number pick in the thread. ONLY one number choice per person. No editing or changes please.
After all 50 numbers have been claimed and the contest ends.
Who wins 1st, 2nd, or 3rd, you ask. That's simple. the lowest number is first, middle number is second and the highest number will be third.
Now, THAT is where I need a MOD's help. I would like to send out in advance, the numbers I have chosen - This will eliminate any chance of an appearance of favoritism. J-buck?, Spence?, Forum Daddy? care to help out? The Prizes: 1st  2nd  3rd (pick only one or the other)  Edited by Dearborn

VERY nice prizes! With this kind of offering for your 2000th post, I'm really looking forward to your 100,000th! I've always wanted a Ferrari! I've got my number all picked out and ready to go. Sounds like a great contest but I think you will have all 3 winners in just a few minutes after starting time . Just a suggestion , I would have had ( pic a number from 1-50 ) ; that makes it more challenging and the contest would last a lot longer and be more fun for all .  |
